“Pure
love is that which has no extraneous element, and that element
cannot be other than egoism; purifying love means suppressing
egoism completely.”

Dear
Customers,
There
is quite a bit of wisdom that comes from writers in
Latin America. Many
North Americans are not very much aware of the
refinement of some of these writers.
Our
“Thought of the day” column presents a wise quote from a
renowned 19th century Mexican Poet who lived
well into the 20th century. A priest
throughout his life, Luis Maria Martinez also became
Bishop and Archbishop of the city of Mexico.
Prices
in the translation business have come down a bit. This
is good for you, the customer. This is a good time to
revise your budget for documentation in other languages
and perhaps squeeze another document or
two.

Translation
Tip 4 – The Wait-to-the-Last-Minute-Syndrome |
The
company that performs your translation is crafting your image
to your foreign customers. If your documentation has taken six
months to compile, revise, and edit, it is critical to
allocate sufficient time to achieve similar high-quality
results in a foreign language. For the large-scale projects,
short time lines or simultaneous release, the scheduling and
management of the translation process are as important as the
translation itself.
Sincerely,
Jaime
